Shrewsbury Town FC today announced the man to take over since Paul Hurst's departure. John Askey joins the club from Macclesfield Town FC after finishing top of the Conference Premier 2017/18 season 10 points clear of former Salop boss Micky Melon who's Tranmere Rovers side went on to win promotion to the Football League at Wembley Stadium.
