Another season is just around the corner and there are a few changes as far as OSC travel is concerned. We are now a travel club and we will still be running coaches to all Shrewsbury Towns Away games in the league and all cup competitions this season.
Pick up points Our pick up points will be;
Four Crosses,
Mile End Services,
Smithy’s Bar at Shrewsbury Town’s Montgomery Waters Meadow Stadium,
Telford Services.
We are delighted to announce that our Meole and Asda pick up points have been replaced by one pick up at The Shrewsbury Town Football Club’s Montgomery Waters Meadow Stadium.
The reason for this is that even though the old pick up places have bus stops, it’s always been a problem when we have more than one coach and passenger safety has always been our number one priority. Also, there is ample free parking for all our travelling supporters at the stadium.
Eventually we hope to make use of Smithy’s Bar prior to the coach departures which will benefit the football club. Pricing and Booking. We will continue to use Owens Travelmaster this season and you will be required to pay when you book for travel to games. There will be no annual membership cost this season and in order to simplify the organisation with just two prices in the form of an Adult and 16 and under fare***.
We feel our prices are fair for trips we will be making this season. Coach stewards We have our volunteers who give up their time to assist on the coaches. They will have basic information to relay to supporters on the coaches so you have an idea where to go and where the safe places are to have drink, etc. Rules of travel There will be a few basic rules for traveling including, as always, No Alcohol on the coaches. Donation. We are also pleased to announce that thanks to your help raising funds last season we are donating £5,000 to a new project at the football club.
Your help always makes a difference to our club so many Thanks.
Look out for us at the Open a Day. *** Our Times and prices will be available at the Shrewsbury Town open day at the stadium tomorrow so look out for our organisers and pick up your copy.
