The OSC's Travel Co-ordinator Brian Jones who maintains Shrewsbury Town Football Clubs Memorial Garden released, on Saturday 6th June 2020, the first images of the new Memorial Gates at the entrance to the Garden in memory of Ruth Williams.
Ruth was a truly loyal supporter for decades of Shrewsbury Town Football Club and it was discussed by the OSC's Committee that a tribute to her memory should be installed at the gardens.
The proposal for the instillation the gates was discussed at a Supporters Parliament meeting with supporters voicing their approval with funding provided jointly by the OSC and the Away Travel Club.
The OSC would like to say a special thank you to Condover Forge for the manufacturing of the gates.
